¹Four Royal Stars

Heralds of Christ Consciousness

http://ascensionglossary.com/index.php/Four_Royal_Stars

The Four Royal Stars also called Archangel Stars are; Aldebaran (Michael), Regulus (Raphael), Antares (Uriel), and Fomalhaut (Gabriel). They are the brightest stars in their constellations and are considered the four guardians of the heavens. They mark seasonal changes of the year at the equinoxes and solstices. Aldebaran watches the Eastern sky and is the dominant star in the Taurus constellation. Regulus watches the North and is the dominant star in the Leo constellation. Antares watches the West and is the alpha star in Scorpio. Fomalhaut watches the Southern sky as the brightest star in Piscis Austrinus.

Cosmic Time Cycle

The East-West Axis of Aldebaran (Taurus) and Antares (Scorpio) as a pair, form the demarcation points of East and West that make the circuit through the Precession of the Equinoxes. This point is measured through the alignments made between these two stars and the Sun’s path, at their axis of rotation made around the Galactic Center. When these two stars are paired in the rotational measurement of equal axis alignment, this event marks the opening of the cosmic time cycle. When The Golden Gate activated recently, this reversed the positional movement of the East –West axis as per directed in the Divine Infinite Calculus. This is saying that these stars have changed their positions in the Galaxy from their previous time cycle, from the perspective of Cosmic Time. These stars form the Four Cardinal Directions (N-S-E-W) measured in the Cosmic Time Cycle, which are being adjusted to the Cosmic Compass designed by Divine Infinite Calculus. The new celestial direction in the cosmic time cycle form the Crown of the Magi, which is a type of Cosmic Celestial Time Calendar that opens Infinity. This is why they are referred to as the Four Royal Stars. At the end of the Precession of Equinoxes, they adjust position and form the Crown of the Magi. Those that wear this Celestial Crown are able to contact infinity, however, they must be embodied Christ Consciousness.

²Abomination of Desolation

Message posted to friends on 26 February 2014:

While in Iceland last August, I met with Pétur Halldórsson at the Cafe Milano in Reykjavík. We discussed matters of mutual interest, including what my Saga Cipher work might “mean“.

I took a napkin and, for emphasis, wrote down the number 438097. This is the Cipher Sum of some three dozen names of persons, institutions, dates and events during the reference period, including two famous murder cases, a sex scandal in high places, and presumptive lies told in connection therewith.

I told Pétur (what I had long surmised) that I believed that this number was associated with a watershed event in human history whose final phase was upon our world.

An earth-shaking culmination of human and spiritual evolution.

The Saga Cipher is constructed from the 22 words, Skrín – kirkio. In the construction of Cipher Values themselves, the letters contained in any given word are represented by their ordinal position in the Alphabet as shown at the end of this note.

Concepts in Pythagorean Creation Myth, when met with in Cipher Analysis, have independent Cipher Values that are routinely integrated with textual Cipher Values.

The Cipher Value of the Saga Cipher itself is defined as the Sum of the Cipher Values of 21 Letters of the Alphabet (See Note below) as follows:

73 + 116 + 225 + 228 + 285 + 325 + 376 + 425 + 449 + 504 + 542 + 569 + 660 + 683 + 770 + 821 + 896 + 923 + 949 + 1018 + 1094 = 11931

Construction of

Letter Cipher Values

A = 73 is derived from Skrín as follows: 1 word + 5 letters + 18/S + 10/k + 17/r + 9/í + 13/n = 73

B = 116, from þat: 73 + 1 word + 3 letters + 19 + 1 + 19 = 116

C = 142, from es: 116 + 1 word + 2 letters + 5 + 18 = 142 – See note below.

D/Ð = 225, from stendr: 142 + 1 word + 6 letters + 18 + 19 + 5 + 13 + 4 + 17 = 225

E = 228, from á: 225 + 1 word + 1 letter + 1 = 228

F = 285, from altara: 228 + 1 word + 6 letters + 1 + 11 + 19 + 1 ++ 17 + 1 = 285

G = 325, from meþ: 285 + 1 word + 3 letters + 12 + 5 + 19 = 325

H = 376, from helgo: 325 + 1 word + 5 letters + 8 + 5 + 11 + 7 + 14 = 376

I/J/Y = 425, from domo: 376 + 1 word + 4 letters + 4 + 14 + 12 + 14 = 425

K/C = 449, from gefa: 425 + 1 word + 4 letters + 7 + 5 + 6 + 1 = 449 – See note below.

L = 504, from þeir: 449 + 1 + word + 4 letters + 19 + 5 + 9 + 17 = 504

M = 542, from Magn: 504 + 1 word + 4 letters + 12 + 1 + 7 + 13 = 542

N = 569, from oc: 542 + 1 word + 2 letters + 14 + 10 = 569 – See note below.

O = 660, from Snorre: 569 + 1 word + 6 letters + 18 + 13 + 14 + 17 + 17 + 5 = 660

P = 683, from at: 660 + 1 word + 2 letters + 1 + 19 = 683

Q = 770, from helfninge: 683 + 1 word + 9 letters + 8 + 5 + 6 + 11 + 13 + 9 + 13 + 7 + 5 = 770

R = 821, from hvar: 770 + 1 word + 4 letters + 8 + 20 + 1 + 17 = 821

S = 896, from þeirra: 821 + 1 word + 6 letters + 19 + 5 + 9 + 17 + 17 + 1 = 896

T/Þ = 923, from oc: 896 + 1 word + 2 letters + 14 + 10 = 923 – See note below.

U/V = 949, from es: 923 + 1 word + 2 letters + 5 + 18 = 949

X = 1018, from þetta: 949 + 1 word + 5 letters + 19 + 5 + 19 + 19 + 1 = 1018

Z = 1094, from kirkio: 1018 + 1 word + 6 letters + 10 + 9 + 17 + 10 + 9 + 14 = 109

NOTE: The letter C is not part of the Icelandic alphabet, but is used in 13th century Saga writing as an alternative to K. Thus, the letter C is only used for construction purposes, with its Cipher Value 142 serving in the construction of E. The Saga Cipher Calculator is programmed to use the Cipher Value of K, 449, for the letter C in any given text. Also, in the construction of the Cipher Values of N and T/Þ, which involves oc in the reference text, the C is treated as K.

Background

Catechism of the Catholic Church

(Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 7)

The Church’s ultimate trial

675 Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the „mystery of iniquity“ in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.

Get thee behind mee, Satan

(Matt. 16:21-23, KJB 1611)

16:21 From that time foorth began Iesus to shew vnto his disciples, how that he must goe vnto Hierusalem, and suffer many things of the Elders and chiefe Priests & Scribes, and be killed, and be raised againe the third day.

16:22

Then Peter tooke him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it farre from thee Lord: This shal not be vnto thee.

16:23

But he turned, and said vnto Peter, Get thee behind mee, Satan, thou art an offence vnto me: for thou sauourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

The Prophecy of Seventy Weeks

(Wikipedia)

According to chapter 9 of the Book of Daniel the Prophecy of Seventy Weeks is a prophecy given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel in response to Daniel praying for God to act on behalf of his people and city (i.e. Jerusalem). The prophecy has proved notoriously difficult for readers, despite it having been the subject of „intense exegetical activity“ since the Second Temple period. For this reason scholars continue to follow James Alan Montgomery in referring to the history of this prophecy’s interpretation as the „dismal swamp“ of critical exegesis.

III. Francis Bacon – Essay, Of Truth

 (Essayes, 1625)

1927965

16829 = What is Truth; said jesting Pilate;

16465 = and would not stay for an Answer.

18074 = Certainly there be, that delight in Giddinesse

13235 = And count it a Bondage, to fix a Beleefe;

22340 = Affecting Free-will in Thinking as well as in Acting.

24810 = And though the Sects of Philosophers of that Kinde be gone,

21536 = yet there remaine certaine discoursing Wits,

12152 = which are of the same veines,

18070 = though there be not so much Bloud in them,

14517 = as was in those of the Ancients.

19835 = But it is not onely the Difficultie, and Labour

17822 = which Men take in finding out of Truth;

14466 = Nor againe, that when it is found,

16605 = it imposeth vpon mens Thoughts;

13519 = that doth bring Lies in fauour,

24851 = But a naturall, though corrupt Loue, of the Lie it selfe.

16509 = One of the later Schoole of the Grecians,

19915 = examineth the matter, and is at a stand, to thinke

21204 = what should be in it, that men should loue Lies;

24494 = Where neither they make for Pleasure, as with Poets;

26333 = Nor for Aduantage, as with the Merchant; but for the Lies sake.

7815 = But I cannot tell:

17572 = This same Truth, is a Naked, and Open day light,

21950 = that doth not shew, the Masques, and Mummeries,

20056 = and Triumphs of the world, halfe so Stately,

10902 = and daintily, as Candlelights.

19942 = Truth may perhaps come to the price of a Pearle,

10647 = that sheweth best by day:

26281 = But it will not rise, to the price of a Diamond or Carbuncle,

16547 = that sheweth best in varied lights.

16697 = A mixture of a Lie doth euer adde Pleasure.

18306 = Doth any man doubt, that if there were taken

15728 = out of Mens Mindes, Vaine Opinions,

15926 = Flattering Hopes, False valuations,

16567 = Imaginations as one would, and the like;

13966 = but it would leaue the Mindes,

17950 = of a Number of Men, poore shrunken Things;

21011 = A pleasure to stand in the window of a Castle,

22322 = and to see a Battaile, and the Aduentures thereof, below:

14652 = But no pleasure is comparable, to

21546 = the standing, vpon the vantage ground of Truth

9474 = (A hill not to be commanded,

19050 = and where the Ayre is alwaies cleare and serene;)

17193 = And to see the Errours and Wandrings,

18416 = and Mists, and Tempests, in the vale below:

23256 = So alwaies, that this prospect, be with Pitty,

15853 = and not with Swelling, or Pride.

14791 = Certainly, it is Heauen vpon Earth,

14444 = to haue a Mans Minde moue in Charitie,

9099 = Rest in Prouidence,

16653 = and Turne vpon the Poles of Truth.

24147 = To pass from Theologicall and Philosophicall Truth,

16506 = to the Truth of ciuill Businesse;

26945 = It will be acknowledged, euen by those, that practize it not,

24509 = that cleare and Round dealing, is the Honour of Mans Nature;

12692 = And that Mixture of Falshood,

15180 = is like Allay in Coyne of Gold and Siluer,

18979 = which may make the Metall worke the better,

8066 = but it embaseth it.

18111 = For these winding, and crooked courses,

23514 = which goeth basely vpon the belly, and not vpon the Feet.

23313 = There is no Vice, that doth so couer a Man with Shame,

14034 = as to be found false, and perfidious.

18522 = And therefore Mountaigny saith prettily,

24123 = when he enquired the reason, why the word of the Lie,

20405 = should be such a Disgrace, and such an Odious Charge?

12538 = Saith he, If it be well weighed,

16568 = To say that a man lieth, is as much to say,

25983 = as that he is braue towards God, and a Coward towards men.

15156 = For a Lie faces God, and shrinkes from Man.

19395 = Surely the Wickednesse of Falshood, and Breach

20429 = of Faith, cannot possibly be so highly expressed,

¹A New Breed of Men Sent Down from Heaven

Now the last age by Cumae’s Sibyl sung has come and gone, and the majestic roll of circling centuries begins anew: justice returns, returns old Saturn’s reign, with a new breed of men sent down from heaven.  Only do thou, at the boy’s birth in whom the iron shall cease, the golden race arise, befriend him, chaste Lucina; ‘tis thine own Apollo reigns.  And in thy consulate, this glorious age, O Pollio, shall begin, and the months enter on their mighty march.  Under thy guidance, whatso tracks remain of our old wickedness, once done away, shall free the earth from never-ceasing fear.  He shall receive the life of gods, and see heroes with gods commingling, and himself be seen of them, and with his father’s worth reign o’er a world of peace.

14869 = And thou shalt bee brought downe,

14749 = and shalt speake out of the ground,

19052 = and thy speach shall be low out of the dust,

7495 = and thy voyce shalbe

23361 = as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground,

20973 = and thy speach shall whisper out of the dust.

29:5

20325 = Moreouer the multitude of thy strangers

9311 = shalbe like small dust,

16953 = and the multitude of the terrible ones

13697 = shalbe as chaffe that passeth away;

14304 = yea it shalbe at an instant suddenly.

29:6

27642 = Thou shalt bee visited of the LORD of hostes with thunder,

15394 = and with earthquake, and great noise,

24863 = with storme and tempest, and the flame of deuouring fire.

29:7

25694 = And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel,

19747 = euen all that fight against her and her munition,

23037 = and that distresse her, shalbe as a dreame of a night vision.

29:8

18197 = It shall euen be as when a hungry man dreameth,

23094 = and behold he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soule is emptie:

22807 = or as when a thirstie man dreameth, and behold he drinketh;

14016 = but hee awaketh, and behold he is faint,

11715 = and his soule hath appetite:

19344 = so shall the multitude of all the nations bee,

14304 = that fight against mount Zion.

29:9

21811 = Stay your selues and wonder, cry yee out, and cry:

17766 = they are drunken, but not with wine,

20216 = they stagger, but not with strong drinke.

29:10

30197 = For the LORD hath powred out vpon you the spirit of deepe sleepe,

10209 = and hath closed your eyes:

25474 = the Prophets and your rulers, the Seers hath hee couered.

29:11

16598 = And the vsion of all is become vnto you

16125 = as the wordes of a booke that is sealed,

17547 = which men deliuer to one that is learned,

11090 = saying, Reade this, I pray thee:

14649 = and hee saith, I cannot, for it is sealed:

29:12

21003 = And the booke is deliuered to him that is not learned,

11090 = saying, Reade this, I pray thee:

10004 = and he saith, I am not learned.

29:13

10901 = Wherefore the Lord said,

27560 = Forasmuch as this people draw neere mee with their mouth,

15688 = and with their lips doe honour me,

17767 = but haue remoued their heart farre from me,

25026 = and their feare towards mee is taught by the precept of men:

29:14

16197 = Therefore behold, I will proceed to do

19770 = a marueilous worke amongst this people,

17491 = euen a marueilous worke and a wonder:

22681 = for the wisedome of their wise men shall perish,

22369 = and the vnderstanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

29:15

13872 = Woe unto them that seeke deepe

16414 = to hide their counsell from the LORD,

18244 = and their workes are in the darke, and they say,

18179 = Who seeth vs? and who knoweth vs?

29:16

22704 = Surely your turning of things vpside downe

15276 = shall be esteemed as the potters clay:

18095 = for shall the worke say of him that made it,

19652 = or shall the thing framed, say of him that framed it,

9304 = He had no vnderstanding?

29:17

14908 = Is it not yet a very litle while,

19456 = and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field

21577 = and the fruitfull field shall be esteemed as a forrest?

29:18

22136 = And in that day shall the deafe heare the words of the booke,

21556 = and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscuritie,

The State of the Union

V. Memorandum for the Attorney General

(Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein)

3081832

15814 = Memorandum for the Attorney General

10654 = FROM: Rod J Rosenstein

20214 = SUBJECT: Restoring public confidence in the FBI

22852 = The Federal Bureau of Investigation has long been regarded

23033 = as our nation’s premier federal investigative agency.

28803 = Over the past year, however, the FBI’s reputation and credibility

13356 = have suffered substantial damage,

21432 = and it has affected the entire Department of Justice.

29556 = That is deeply troubling to many Department employees and veterans,

12131 = legislators and citizens.

32110 = The current FBI Director is an articulate and persuasive speaker about

29765 = leadership and the immutable principles of the Department of Justice.

24102 = He deserves our appreciation for his public service.

21698 = As you and I have discussed, however, I cannot defend

28505 = the Director’s handling of the conclusion of the investigation

28732 = of Secretary Clinton’s emails, and I do not understand his refusal

28006 = to accept the nearly universal judgment that he was mistaken.

29026 = Almost everyone agrees that the Director made serious mistakes;

34696 = it is one of the few issues that unites people of diverse perspectives.

40021 = The director was wrong to usurp the Attorney General’s authority on July 5, 2016,

38561 = and announce his conclusion that the case should be closed without prosecution.

30716 = It is not the function of the Director to make such an announcement.

34054 = At most, the Director should have said the FBI had completed its investigation

23564 = and presented its findings to federal prosecutors.

28935 = The Director now defends his decision by asserting that he believed

18836 = attorney General Loretta Lynch had a conflict.

35735 = But the FBI Director is never empowered to supplant federal prosecutors

19493 = and assume command of the Justice Department.

30710 = There is a well established process for other officials to step in

27835 = when a conflict requires the recusal of the  Attorney General.

30917 = On July 5, however, the Director announced his own conclusions

28121 = about the  nation’s most sensitive criminal investigation,

35654 = without the authorization of duly appointed Justice Department leaders.

16291 = What was the Clinton FBI probe about?

34766 = Compounding the error, the Director ignored another longstanding principle:

31508 = we do not hold  press conferences to release derogatory information

23303 = about the subject of a declined criminal investigation.

22282 = Derogatory information sometimes is disclosed

28589 = in the course of criminal investigations and prosecutions,

19108 = but we never release it gratuitously.

29558 = The Director laid out his version of the facts for the news media

25494 = as if it were a closing argument, but without a trial.

29441 = It is a textbook example of what federal prosecutors and agents

9311 = are taught not to do.

28569 = In response to skeptical question at a congressional hearing,

21065 = the Director defended his remarks by saying that his

29849 = „goal was to say what is true. What did we do, what did we find,

13092 = what do we think about it.“

28779 = But the goal of a federal criminal investigation is not to announce

16937 = our thoughts at a press conference.

27664 = The goal is to determine whether there is sufficient evidence

19419 = to justify a federal criminal prosecution,

31919 = then allow a federal prosecutor who exercises authority delegated

27318 = by the Attorney General to make a prosecutorial decision, and then –

32088 = if prosecution is warranted – let the judge and jury determine the facts.

30365 = We sometimes release information about closed investigations

26971 =  in appropriate ways, but the FBI does not do it sua sponte.

25472 = Concerning his letter to the Congress on October 28, 2016,

31503 = the Director cast his decision as a choice between whether he would

29980 = „speak“ about the FBI’s decision to investigate the newly-discovered

11617 = email messages or „conceal“ it.

21773 = „Conceal“ is a loaded term that misstates the issue.

34937 = When federal agents and prosecutors quietly open a criminal investigation,

13336 = we are not concealing anything;

30932 = we are simply following the longstanding policy that we refrain

19148 = from publicizing non-public information.

20025 = In that context, silence is not concealment.

31754 = My perspective on these issues is shared by former Attorneys General

32518 = and Deputy Attorneys General from different eras and both political parties.

29096 = Judge Laurence Silberman, who served as Deputy Attorneys General

39130 = under President Ford, wrote that „it is not the bureau’s responsibility to opine

19678 = on whether a matter should be prosecuted.“

33867 = Silberman believes that the Director’s „Performance was so inappropriate

33976 = for an FBI director that [he] doubt[s] the bureau will ever completely recover.“

30969 = Jamie Gorelick, Deputy Attorney General under President George W. Bush,

31650 = to opine that the Director had „chosen personally to restrike the balance

36881 = between transparency and fairness, department from the department’s traditions.“

26531 = They concluded that the Director violated his obligation to

30542 = „preserve, protect and defend“ the traditions of the Department and the FBI.

16886 = Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey,

20893 = who served under President George W Bush,

23668 = observed the Director „stepped way outside his job

14809 = in disclosing the recommendation

27382 = in that fashion“ because the FBI director „doesn’t make that decision“.

25323 = Alberto Gonzales, who also served as Attorneys General

14612 = under President George W Bush,

16788 = called the decision „an error in judgement.“

36442 = Eric Holder, who served as Deputy Attorneys General under President Clinton and

17520 = Attorneys General under President Obama,

22978 = said that the Director’s decision „was incorrect.

31985 = It violated long-standing Justice Department policies and traditions.

27525 = And it ran counter to guidance that I put in place four years ago

38029 = laying out the proper way to conduct investigations during an election season.“

34616 = Holder concluded that the Director „broke with these fundamental principles“

33176 = and „negatively affected public trust in both the Justice Department and the FBI“.

25093 = Former Deputy Attorneys General Gorelick and Thompson

12926 = described the unusual event

28465 = as „real-time, raw-take transparency taken to its illogical limit,

22464 = a kind of reality TV of federal criminal investigation,“

23766 = that is „antithetical to the interests of justice“.

35153 = Donald Ayer, who served as Deputy Attorneys General under President HW Bush,

36245 = along with former Justice Department officials, was „astonished and perplexed“

33354 = by the decision to „break[] with longstanding practices followed by officials

17840 = of both parties during past elections.“

38109 = Ayer’s letter noted, „Perhaps most troubling… is the precedent set by this departure

30533 = from the Department’s widely-respected, non-partisan traditions.“

29516 = We should reject the departure and return to the traditions.

28904 = Although the President has the power to remove an FBI director,

17234 = the decision should not be taken lightly.

33907 = I agree with the nearly unanimous opinions of former Department officials.

38633 = The way the Director handled the conclusion of the email investigation was wrong.

32694 = As a result, the FBI is unlikely to regain public and congressional trust

32368 = until it has a Director who understands the gravity of the mistakes

13359 = and pledges never to repeat them.

16064 = Having refused to admit his errors,

35935 = the Director cannot be expected to implement the necessary corrective actions.

3081832

VI. Letter to President Donald J. Trump

(Attorney General Jeff Sessions)

424418

7708 = Dear Mr. President:

25641 = As Attorney General, I am committed to a high level of discipline,

26945 = integrity and the rule of law to the Department of Justice –

17570 = an institution that I deeply respect.

22613 = Based on my evaluation, and for the reasons expressed

23813 = by the Deputy Attorney General in the attached memorandum,

17943 = I have concluded that a fresh start is needed

10280 = at the leadership of the FBI.

29265 = It is essential that this Department of Justice clearly reaffirm

27362 = its commitment to longstanding principles that ensure

33014 = the integrity and fairness of official investigations and prosecutions.

29904 = The Director of the FBI must be someone who follows faithfully

24402 = the rules and principles of the Department of Justice

30592 = and who sets the right example for our law enforcement officials

12507 = and others in the Department.

20326 = Therefore I must recommend that you remove

10382 = Director James B. Comey, Jr.

19636 = and identify an experienced and qualified individual

15911 = to lead the great men and women of the FBI.

4545 = Sincerely,

6689 = Jeff Sessions

7370 = Attorney General

424418

VII. Dear Director Comey – Letter of Dismissal

(President Donald J. Trump)

335368

8203 = Dear Director Comey:

26129 = I have received the attached letters from the Attorney General

22927 = and the Deputy Attorney General of the United States

13320 = recommending your dismissal

23355 = as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

14996 = I have accepted their recommendation

20334 = and you are hereby terminated and removed from office,

8540 = effective immediately.

19166 = While I greatly appreciate you informing me,

12807 = on three separate occasions,

15669 = that I am not under investigation,

14790 = I nevertheless concur with

18640 = the judgment of the Department of Justice

20729 = that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau.

24609 = It is essential that we find new leadership for the FBI

15406 = that restores public trust

23456 = and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission.

25693 = I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

6599 = Donald J. Trump

The Tragedy of Hamlet Prince of Denmarke

25 May 2018

Washington Post

(25 May 2018)

After weeks of receiving and even appearing to encourage chants of “Nobel” ahead of a planned historic meeting with North Korea dictator Kim Jong Un, President Trump on Thursday abruptly canceled the June 12 summit. His withdrawal comes after days of wavering by North Korea and then the United States on attending the summit. North Korea issued a statement Wednesday saying the United States should “meet us at a meeting room or encounter us at nuclear-to-nuclear showdown.” A North Korean official also called Vice President Pence a “political dummy” after Pence said in an interview the North Korea negotiations could „end like the Libya model ended” if no deal was made.

Trump hints at all that in his letter to Kim. Read it below with our annotations. Click on the highlighted text to view each annotation.

11212 = His Excellency Kim Jong Un

IV. The heathen raged, the kingdomes were moved:

he uttered his voyce, the earth melted.

 (46th Psalm, King James Bible 1611)

433745

“It would be pleasant to think that Shakespeare was responsible, in part, for the majesty of the following [46th Psalm, original 1611 spelling, Saga Cipher Values inserted]:

46:1

27783 = God is our refuge and strength; a very present helpe in trouble.

46:2

25140 = Therfore will not we feare, though the earth be removed:

25186 = and though the mountaines be caried into the midst of the sea,

46:3

21736 = Though the waters thereof roare, and be troubled,

29088 = though the mountaines shake with the swelling thereof.  Selah.

46:4

7214 = There is a river,

21306 = the streames wherof shall make glad the citie of God:

19776 = the holy place of the Tabernacles of the most High.

46:5

18882 = God is in the midst of her: she shal not be moved:

15090 = God shall helpe her, and that right early.

46:6

17597 = The heathen raged, the kingdomes were moved:

15907 = he uttered his voyce, the earth melted.

46:7

15221 = The Lord of hosts is with us,

14069 = the God of Jacob is our refuge.  Selah.

46:8

15149 = Come, behold the Workes of the Lord,

17919 = what desolations hee hath made in the earth.

46:9

21932 = He maketh warres to cease unto the end of the earth:

23023 = hee breaketh the bow, and cutteth the speare in sunder,

14120 = he burneth the chariot in the fire.

46:10

12080 = Be stil, and know that I am God:

13996 = I will bee exalted among the heathen,

12241 = I will be exalted in the earth.

46:11

15221 = The Lord of hosts is with us,

14069 = the God of Jacob is our refuge.  Selah.

433745

Whether he had anything to do with it or not, he is in it.  It is the forty-sixth Psalm.  The forty-sixth word from the beginning is SHAKE, and the forty-sixth word from the end, if we leave out the cadential ‘Selah’,  is SPEAR[E].  And, in 1610, Shakespeare was forty-six years old.  If this is mere chance, fancy must allow us to think that it is happy chance.  The greatest prose-work of all time has the name of the greatest poet set cunningly in it.“ (Anthony Burgess, Shakespeare, Penguin Books, 1972, pp. 233-234)

The Hamlet Myth

(Giorgio Santillana, Hamlet’s Mill)

Here is a character [Prince Hamlet] deeply present to our awareness, in whom ambiguities and uncertainties, tormented self-questioning and dispassionate insight give a presentiment of the modern mind.  His personal drama was that he had to be a hero, but still try to avoid the role Destiny assigned him.  His lucid intellect remained above the conflict of motives – in other words, his was and is a truly contemporary consciousness.  And yet this character whom the poet made one of us, the first unhappy intellectual, concealed a past as a legendary being, his features predetermined, preshaped by long-standing myth.  There was a numinous aura around him, and many clues led up to him.  But it was a surprise to find behind the mask an ancient and all-embracing cosmic power – the original master of the dreamed-of first age of the world.

Yet in all his guises he remained strangely himself.  The original Amlóði, as his name was in Icelandic legend, shows the same characteristics of melancholy and high intellect.  He, too, is a son dedicated to avenge his father, a speaker of cryptic but inescapable truths, an elusive carrier of Fate who must yield once his mission is accomplished and sink once more into concealment in the depths of time to which he belongs:  Lord of the Golden Age, the Once and Future King.

[…]

Amlóði was identified, in the crude and vivid imagery of the Norse, by the ownership of a fabled mill which, in his own time, ground out peace and plenty.  Later, in decaying times, it ground out salt; and now finally, having landed at the bottom of the sea, it is grinding rock and sand, creating a vast whirlpool, the Maelstrom (i.e. the grinding stream, from the [Icelandic] verb mala, „to grind“), which is supposed to be a way to the land of the dead.  This imagery stands, as the evidence develops, for an astronomical process, the secular shifting of the sun through the signs of the zodiac which determines world-ages, each numbering thousands of years.  Each age brings a World Era, a Twilight of the Gods.  Great structures collapse; pillars topple which supported the great fabric; floods and cataclysms herald the shaping of a new world. (Hamlet’s Mill – An Essay on Myth and the Frame of Time, 1969; Second Paperback Edition, David R. Godine, Publisher, Boston, 1983, pp. 1-2.)

Greene’s Groats-Worth of Witte

© Gunnar Tómasson

22 May 2018

Archetypal Robert Greene

(S. Schoenbaum)

With [Robert] Greene we cannot always separate fact from fiction in the fantasias he composed on autobiographical themes, or the legend made of him by his contemporaries.  The pattern of his life – necessarily pieced together from the testimony of biased witnesses – assumes the lineaments of archetype.

[…]

 [One] evening he over-indulged in Rhenish wine and pickled herrings, and this excess brought on his last illness.  He was then lodged with his mistress, ‘a sorry ragged quean’, and their bastard in the house of a shoemaker of Dowgate, one Isam, and his wife.  For a month Greene lingered in squalor, deserted by friends but attended by a troop of lice.  Mrs. Isam gave him the penny-pot of malmsey he pitifully begged, while Gabriel Harvey exulted in the downfall of the wicked:

A rakehell, a makeshift, a scribbling fool:

A famous bayard in city, and school.

Now sick as a dog, and ever brainsick:

Where such a raving and desperate Dick?

 […]

Between prayers Greene scribbled his last confessions, and near the end wrote piteously to his cast-off Dorothea, asking her to forgive him and pay the ten pounds he owed his host.  When he died, Mrs. Isam crowned him with a garland of bays, in accordance with his last wish.  Before the year was out the bookstalls of St. Paul’s Churchyard displayed The Repentance of Robert Greene, Master of Arts and Greene’s Groatsworth of Wit, bought with a million of Repentance.  Decribing the folly of youth, the falsehood of makeshift flatterers, the misery of the negligent, and mischiefs of deceiving Courtesans.  Written before his death and published at his dying request.

Thus lived and died Robert Greene, the saddler’s son who would not willingly let the world forget that he was a Master of Arts.  His progress furnishes a direct antithesis to that of the glover’s son from Stratford who never proceeded beyond grammar school.  But Greene’s career holds more than an exemplary interest.  In the Groatsworth of Wit he makes the first unmistakable reference we have to Shakespeare in London. […]

Yet the Groatsworth of Wit contains – no question – a desperate shaft directed at Shakespeare.  The author hurls it later, after having abandoned any pretence at fiction; he speaks as Greene, offering, while life still beats, the bitter wisdom of experience.  […] (William Shakespeare – A Compact Documentary Life, Oxford University Paperback, 1978, pp. 147-151)

Ég ákvað að gerast bloggari á pressan.is til að geta komið skoðunum mínum í þeim efnum á framfæri.
