This morning Pétur Halldórsson – an Icelandic friend and fellow student of Saga Myth and Einar Pálsson’s interpretation thereof – posted a brief note to some friends, suggesting that the Coliseum of ancient Rome was modeled on the SAME mythical idea as Valhöll of Snorri Sturluson’s Edda. As suggested in my response below, Pétur appears to have hit the nail on the head!
Dear Pétur.
On reading your note an hour ago, something occurred to me: IF your thesis is correct, THEN the Saga Cipher would most likely confirm it!
The Latin name for the Coliseum is Amphitheatrum Flavium (Wikipedia). In the Augustan-Saga-Shakespeare context, this suggests that, first Valhöll and then The Globe theater, should refer to the SAME mythical concept as the Coliseum – as in:
10661 = Amphitheatrum Flavium
3570 = Valhöll
3360 = The Globe
17591
All the world is a stage, Shakespeare wrote.
If, as I hypothesized some time back, the Eight Natural Notes descending and ascending may be reflected in the concept of Jacob’s Ladder, then Jacob’s transformation into Israel might play out on Tri-Unite World Stage:
I. Tri-unite World Stage
17591 = Tri-Unite World Stage
5015 = Eight Natural Notes Descending
5015 = Eight Natural Notes Ascending
27621
Here are just two brief indications that there may be something to your thesis, the Saga Cipher and my construction of the never-heard-of-before Augustan-Saga-Shakespeare literary tradition:
II. The Sacred Triangle of Pagan Iceland and Brennu-Njáll
1 = Monad
5003 = Þrídrangr – Triple Rock*
16290 = The Sacred Triangle of Pagan Iceland **
1000 = Light of the World/FIRE
5327 = Brennu-Njáll
27621
III. To be, or not to be; that is the question
15621 = The Tragedie of Hamlet, Prince of Denmarke
1000 = Light of the World
4000 = Flaming Sword
7000 = Microcosmos – Man in God´s Image

* Einar Pálsson´s first hypothesis in his first (of eleven) book on his research reads (in translation):
The world was created on an island off the south coast of Iceland. The name of that island is Þrídrangr.
** Title of Einar Pálsson’s English language book on the central role of Pythagorean Triangle 3-4-5 in Saga Myth. The Triangle is envisaged as THE STAGE for the drama of Brennu-Nálssaga, its three corners are these:
7196 = Bergþórshváll
6067 = Miðeyjarhólmr
3027 = Helgafell
