Vituð ér enn, eða hvat?

Við leit að upplýsingum um Lilju Eysteins Ásgrímssonar rakst ég á efirfarandi umsögn um mikilvægi  talnanna 10 og 100 hjá miðaldahöfundum. Í gömlum sköpunarmýtum er 10 tala Föður og tala 100 vísar til endaloka, t.d. lok bókar. Talan tíu kemur við sögu þegar Kári fullkomnar hefnd sína fyrir Njálsbrennu með því að afhausa Kol Þorsteinsson, og mælir höfuðið Tíu er það fýkur af bolnum:

Með hliðsjón af tengslu Ave Maria bænarinnar við töluna 100 fann ég út tölugildi hennar samkvæmt táknmálslykli Reykholtsmáldaga, og reyndist það vera 55801 og tengdist lykiltölugildum táknmáls í meintum „huldum kveðskap‟ þeirra Snorra Sturlusonar og Sturlu Þórðarsonar eins og nú skal sýnt.

Ákveðin óvissa ríkir um nafn höfundar Lilju, en almennt er það sagt hafa verið Eysteinn Ásgrímsson. Sú nafngift kann að hafa ráðist af tölugildi nafnsins, sem er 10366. Með því væri áréttað að ofangreind framsetning væri ekki tilviljun sbr. summu tölugildanna 7 + 11359 – 1000 = 10366, þar sem

7 = Maður Sjöunda Dags

The Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis

The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC is known internationally by its traditional and authentic title, the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis, from which is derived the acronym “AMORC.” The Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis is the Latin form of the organization’s name, which literally translates into the Ancient Mystical Order of the Rose Cross. There is no religious connotation associated with this symbol; the Rose Cross symbol predates Christianity. The cross symbolically represents the human body and the rose represents the individual’s unfolding consciousness.

As the Renaissance burst upon Europe with a flash of new interest in the arts and sciences, a mysterious publication printed in 17th-century Germany and called the Fama Fraternitatis heralded a renewed interest in Rosicrucianism throughout Europe. The Fama introduces Christian Rosenkreuz, a mythical character who was said to have traveled to centers of learning in the Near East and who personified the revived interest in esoteric studies and mystical learning.

As part of this great renewal, the renowned Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1626), English philosopher, essayist, and statesman, directed the Rosicrucian Order and its activities both in England and on the continent.

Foreword

Below is a bird’s-eye view of the Ancient Pagan roots of Augustan-Saga-Shakespeare Myth and Literature and their fusion with Christian imagery through the Sacred Triangle of Pagan Iceland.

This concept is not addressed in the present note, but it refers to a Pythagorean Triangle which marks the setting of Saga of Burn’t Njáll within a larger circular frame. According to Icelandic Saga scholar Einar Pálsson, the frame represented a projection on the earth below of the Zodiac above.

Snorri Sturluson (1179-1241) gave this Pagan/Christian imagery literary form in the 13th century which served Francis Bacon as foundation for the imagery of The Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis.

Snorri Sturluson and Francis Bacon gave essential unity to Augustan-Saga-Shakespeare Myth and Literature of the kind envisaged by Plato in ION where he likened a succession of inspired poets – Brotherhood – to magnetic rings which cling together in a chain originating from ONE magnet.

Comments are kept to a minimum. However, in Item VI Mozart’s Magic flute is noted. The opera is said to reflect Masonic myth but it mirrors aspects of Ancient Creation Myth, whose themes are reflected in Augustan-Saga-Shakespeare Literature.

The same is true of Verdi’s Aida, as suggested by the mention of Ritorna Vincitur – Return Victorious – in Item VII. A First folio poem on William Shakespeare speaks of his “death” as “but an exit of mortalitie” and prelude to “a Re-entrance to a Plaudite”.

Likewise, in Uppsala Edda a listing of “law-speakers” in Iceland ends on: “Snorri Sturluson í annat sinn,” or “a second time”, as in The Second Coming.

A History of God

The most influential Kabbalistic text was The Zohar, which was probably written in about 1275 by the Spanish mystic Moses of Leon. As a young man, he had studied Maimonides but had gradually felt that attraction of mysticism and the esoteric tradition of Kabbalah. The Zohar (The Book of Splendour) is a sort of mystical novel, which depicts the third-century Talmudist Simeon ben Yohai wandering around Palestine with his son Eliezar, talking to his disciples about God, nature and human life. There is no clear structure and no systematic development of theme or ideas. Such an approach would be alien to the spirit of The Zohar, whose God resists any neat system of thought. Like Ibn-al-Arabi, Moses of Leon believed that God gives each mystic a unique and personal revelation, so there is no limit to the way the Torah can be interpreted: as the Kabbalist progresses, layer upon layer of significance is revealed. The Zohar shows the mysterious emanation of the ten sefiroth as a process whereby the impersonal En Sof becomes a personality. In the three highest sefiroth – Kether, Hokhmah and Binah – when, as it were, En Sof has only just „decided“ to express himself, the divine reality is called „HE.“ As „he“ descends through the middle sefiroth – Hesed, Din, Tifereth, Netsakh, Hod and Yesod – „he“ becomes „you.“ Finally, when God becomes present in the world in the Shekinah, „he“ calls himself „I.“ It is at this point, where God has, as it were, become an individual and his self-expression is complete, that man can begin his mystical journey. Once the mystic has acquired an understanding of his own deepest self, he becomes aware of the Presence of God within him and can then ascend to the more impersonal higher spheres, transcending the limits of personality and egotism. It is a return to the unimaginable Source of our being and the hidden world of sense impression is simply the last and outer-most shell of the divine reality. The Shakespeare Authorship Question

Introduction

It was by accident that I chanced upon the so-called Shakespeare Authorship Question in the mid-1970s. In the course of research into epistemology and scientific methodology in connection with Ph. D. thesis work at the Harvard Department of Economics, Francis Bacon’s New Organon caught my attention and I became interested in learning more about the author of this extraordinarily brilliant piece of writing.

In the course of background work on Bacon, I learned about his alleged involvement in the Shakespeare Opus. After further research I concluded that the allegation was most likely true. In the early 1980s the Harvard Magazine reported on a new book by Charlton Ogburn, The Mysterious William Shakespeare, which presented a very strong case for the authorship of Edward Oxenford, Seventeenth Earl of Oxford.

Ogburn’s book had a photocopy of the only extant reference by the Earl to Francis Bacon. The letter was addressed to Robert Cecil read as follows:

The Earl’s “Booke from her Magestie” which he wished Bacon to “perfet” suggested that a plausible explanation for my own conclusion that Bacon most likely was involved in the Shakespeare Opus was that the Earl had passed to him a “booke from her Magestie” – now known as the Shakespeare Opus – to be “perfected”. The atrocious spelling of the Earl’s letter appears obviously contrived – as in need of some extensive “perfecting” work.

Francis Bacon’s literary legacy is most prominently on display in his Essayes, on which he worked for some 30 years, with the final version published in 1625. Bacon’s Dedication thereof reads as follows:

Ég er fæddur (1940) og uppalinn á Melunum í Reykjavík. Stúdent úr Verzlunarskóla Íslands 1960 og með hagfræðigráður frá Manchester University (1963) og Harvard University (1965). Starfaði sem hagfræðingur við Alþjóðagjaldeyrissjóðinn frá 1966 til 1989. Var m.a. aðstoðar-landstjóri AGS í Indónesíu 1968-1969, og landstjóri í Kambódíu (1971-1972) og Suður Víet-Nam (1973-1975). Hef starfað sjálfstætt að rannsóknarverkefnum á ýmsum sviðum frá 1989, þ.m.t. peningahagfræði. Var einn af þremur stofnendum hagfræðingahóps (Gang8) 1989. Frá upphafi var markmið okkar að hafa hugsað málin í gegn þegar - ekki ef - allt færi á annan endann í alþjóðapeningakerfinu. Í október 2008 kom sú staða upp í íslenzka peninga- og fjármálakerfinu. Alla tíð síðan hef ég látið peninga- og efnahagsmál á Íslandi meira til mín taka en áður. Ég ákvað að gerast bloggari á pressan.is til að geta komið skoðunum mínum í þeim efnum á framfæri.
