Rosslyn Chapel and Girth House (The Holy Sepulchre)

© Gunnar Tómasson

17 October 2017

Prologue

A jig-saw puzzle of a thousand pieces takes time, and tests the patience of one that attempts to do so. Today, a link to a web-site  – http://www.rosslynchapel.com/  – was posted on Facebook. The link of Rosslyn Chapel to Saga-Shakespeare Myth and Prophecy has long been known to me but on this web-site I came across what appears to be a previously missing piece of the puzzle:

About Rosslyn Chapel

‘It came into his mind to build a house for God’s service, of most curious work, the which that it might be done with greater glory and splendour, he caused artificers to be brought from other regions and foreign kingdoms and caused daily to be abundance of all kinds of workmen present as masons, carpenters, smiths, barrowmen and quarriers…..’

Father Hay, author of A Genealogie of the Saintclaires of Rosslyn, describes the start of Sir William St Clair’s plan.

Rosslyn Chapel was founded in 1446 as a place of worship and services continue to be held here weekly. The Chapel has also been a popular destination for visitors for generations. By the late 18th-century, it was starting to appear on itineraries and its profile greatly increased after the publication of Dan Brown’s novel, The Da Vinci Code, in 2003, and the subsequent film. Rosslyn Chapel Trust was established in 1995 to care for the Chapel and oversee its conservation and public access.

Addendum

(17 October 2017)

A circular stone church in the Orkney Islands, known as Girth House, is said to have been built on the model of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. In previous postings, I have used Girth House as symbol of the Holy Sepulchre. In Saga Myth, as construed by Einar Pálsson,”the world was created on a small island off Iceland’s south coast” known as Þrídrangr or Triple Rock.

This evening it occurred to me that the three Orkney “rock” features – Rosslyn Chapel, Girth House and the Gaukr Trandilsson runic inscription at Maeshowe – might have been designed on the conceptual model of Triple Rock?  The results summarized below were quickly forthcoming.

And Brennu-Njálssaga

A runic poem carved in stone at Maeshowe in Orkney features a heroic character mentioned in Brennu-Njálssaga who had been slain by his half-brother before the Saga begins. The reason for the carving is a mystery, but in view of Sir William having been Prince of Orkney I decided to see how the poem‘s Cipher Value might relate to that of Father Hay‘s description of the start of his plan, 147657.  The poem and Cipher Values are as follows:

From the north and along the eastern half all the way to the south, that is called Asia. In that part of the world is all beauty and ornaments and stores of earth’s fruit, gold and diamonds.

There is also the center of the world.

And just as the earth is more beautiful there and better in all qualities than in other places, so also was the human race most deified by all the talents, the wisdom and the power, the beauty and all kinds of knowledge.

The Rennes-le-Château Mystery

I first learned of the so-called Rennes-le-Château Mystery in the early 1980s through the book The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail by Michael Baigent, Richard Leith and Henry Lincoln.  More recently renewed attention was drawn to the mystery in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Both these books were world-wide best-sellers but the mystery remains a closely guarded secret.

On reading The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, I became persuaded (a) that the authors were on a wild-goose chase, and (b) that the Rennes-le-Château Mystery was rooted in “the biggest and most successful fraud ever practiced on a patient world“, as author Henry James wrote of the absurdity that Will Shakspere of Stratford had authored the works of “the divine William“.

As shown below, the Cipher Values of (a) the title of Boudet‘s book, (b) the decoded text of two parchments at the heart of the Rennes-le-Château Mystery, and (d) Rennes-le-Château linked to core aspects of Saga-Shakespeare Myth are subsumed under the Cipher Value 147657.

Rosslyn Chapel and Brennu-Njálssaga

© Gunnar Tómasson

15 October 2017

Background¹

The chapel is believed by many to be the link between the mysterious Knights Templar of the Middle Ages and Freemasonry. It has long been claimed that Freemasonry evolved from the Templars, the medieval order of warrior monks – the special forces of their day – who, it is said, were driven underground when the Order was ruthlessly suppressed by the King of France and the Pope in 1307. The enigmatic carvings within Rosslyn Chapel include both Templar and Masonic symbolism – yet, curiously, it was built a century and a half after the supposed demise of the Templars, and a century and a half before the accepted origins of Freemasonry. Clearly, Rosslyn Chapel holds the secret of the true history of these great orders.

The Templar/Mason link was personified by the mastermind behind Rosslyn Chapel, Sir William St Clair, Prince of Orkney. Sir William’s ancestors had close links with the Knights Templar, and his descendants were granted the privilege of being hereditary Grand Masters of Freemasonry in Scotland, so both the building and its owners, the illustrious St Clair (later Sinclair) family, seem to provide the ‘missing link’ between Templars and Masons.

The Orkney Link To Brennu-Njálssaga

A runic poem carved in stone at Maeshowe in Orkney features a heroic character mentioned in Brennu-Njálssaga who had been slain by his half-brother before the Saga begins. The reason for the carving is a mystery, but in view of Sir William having been Prince of Orkney I decided to see how the poem‘s Cipher Value might relate to that of Father Hay‘s description of the start of his plan, 147657.  The poem and Cipher Values are as follows:

7070 = Þessar rúnar

5923 = reist sá maðr,

6553 = er rýnstr er

7149 = fyrir vestan haf,

5920 = með þeiri öxi,

6010 = er átti Gaukr

7157 = Tran[]ils sonr

7773 = fyrir sunnan land.

53555

A link between the Cipher Sum 53555 + 147657 = 201212 and Alpha & Omega of Saga-Shakespeare Myth soon became apparent as follows:

1000 + 5596 – 6960 + 164001 + 37575 = 201212, where

1000 = Light of the World

5596 = Andlig spekðin – Spiritual Wisdom

-6960 = Jarðlig skilning – Earthly Understanding

37575 = St. Peter’s Basilica – Symbol of Perfect Creation²

Rosslyn Chapel and Saga-Shakespeare Myth

© Gunnar Tómasson

14 October 2017

The Knights Templar and the Papacy

© Gunnar Tómasson

13 October 2017

Prologue

At dawn on Friday, 13 October 1307 mass arrests of Knights Templar were carried out in many parts of Europe at the instigation of the King of France and with the permission of the Pope.

The Knights Templar were tortured to confess to outrageous charges, their Order was dissolved and their vast assets confiscated.

On 18 March 1314 the Order’s Grand Master, Jacques de Molay, was burned at the stake in the square in front of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. All this has a bearing on what follows.

Francis Bacon was a Prophet.  In 1625, he published the final edition of a collection of Essayes, on which he had worked for 30 years.  The first essay, Of Truth, contained in the last sentence a prophecy. As outlined in the Epilogue to this posting, that prophecy may be viewed as bearing directly on both the timing and subject matter of this posting.

At the end of Bacon’s visionary work, New Atlantis – A Work Vnfinished, there is a stand-alone sentence – The rest was not perfected, 13484 – that, together with the Cipher Value of the name of Jacques de Molay, 6447, yield the Cipher Sum of 19931.

This is also the Cipher Sum of a key aspect of a mystery addressed in two best-selling books – Holy Blood and Holy Grail by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln, first published in 1982, and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, published in 2003.  The mystery concerns a painting, Les Bergers d’Arcadie (The Shepherds of Arcadia), by Nicolas Poussin (1594-1665) that King Louis XIV was eager to acquire for his private residence.

In mid-18th a mirror image of the painting made into the centerpiece of a monument raised on the grounds of Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire, England, featuring a tomb with a sequence of letters: O U O S V A V V, carved on it between the letters DM and a Latin phrase – Et in Arcadia Ego (And I in Arcadia).

According to Wikipedia, “It has never been satisfactorily explained, and has been called one of the world’s top uncracked ciphertexts.” According to Snorri Sturluson’s Saga Cipher, the Cipher Value of the painting’s title, letters and Latin text is 19931:

7582 = Les Bergers d’Arcadie

6852 = D O.U.O.S.V.A.V.V M

  5497 = Et in Arcadia Ego

19931

The anonymous author of Brennu-Njálssaga refers to himself as EK (Icelandic for EGO) in the saga‘s final sentence. In the context of Saga-Shakespeare Myth, an author in Arcadia/Heaven is otherwise referred to as Monad, 1 as in 1 + 19931 = 19932. And therein lies an explanation of the mystery – for this Cipher Value refers to one of the most important verses of the Bible:

19932 = Foreuer, O LORD, thy Word is setled in Heauen. (Psalm 119:89, KJB 1611)

¹A New Breed of Men Sent Down From Heaven

Now the last age by Cumae’s Sibyl sung has come and gone, and the majestic roll of circling centuries begins anew: justice returns, returns old Saturn’s reign, with a new breed of men sent down from heaven.  Only do thou, at the boy’s birth in whom the iron shall cease, the golden race arise, befriend him, chaste Lucina; ‘tis thine own Apollo reigns.  And in thy consulate, this glorious age, O Pollio, shall begin, and the months enter on their mighty march.  Under thy guidance, whatso tracks remain of our old wickedness, once done away, shall free the earth from never-ceasing fear.  He shall receive the life of gods, and see heroes with gods commingling, and himself be seen of them, and with his father’s worth reign o’er a world of peace.

²Abomination of Desolation

Message posted to friends on 26 February 2014:

While in Iceland last August, I met with Pétur Halldórsson at the Cafe Milano in Reykjavík. We discussed matters of mutual interest, including what my Saga Cipher work might “mean“.

I took a napkin and, for emphasis, wrote down the number 438097. This is the Cipher Sum of some three dozen names of persons, institutions, dates and events during the reference period, including two famous murder cases, a sex scandal in high places, and presumptive lies told in connection therewith.

I told Pétur (what I had long surmised) that I believed that this number was associated with a watershed event in human history whose final phase was upon our world.

An earth-shaking culmination of human and spiritual evolution.

³Extreme Persecution

In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations; when they are over, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the terrible or fearsome Judge will judge his people. The End.

¹Abomination of Desolation

An earth-shaking culmination of human and spiritual evolution

²Abomination of Desolation

Message posted to friends on 26 February 2014.

An earth-shaking culmination of human and spiritual evolution

¹Abomination of Desolation

Background on Kabbalah

The most influential Kabbalistic text was The Zohar, which was probably written in about 1275 by the Spanish mystic Moses of Leon [who] believed that God gives each mystic a unique and personal revelation, so there is no limit to the way the Torah can be interpreted: as the Kabbalist progresses, layer upon layer of significance is revealed. The Zohar shows the mysterious emanation of the ten sefiroth as a process whereby the impersonal En Sof becomes a personality. In the three highest sefiroth – Kether, Hokhmah and Binah – when, as it were, En Sof has only just „decided“ to express himself, the divine reality is called „he.“ As „he“ descends through the middle sefiroth – Hesed, Din, Tifereth, Netsakh, Hod and Yesod – „he“ becomes „you.“ Finally, when God becomes present in the world in the Shekinah, „he“ calls himself „I.“ It is at this point, where God has, as it were, become an individual and his self-expression is complete, that man can begin his mystical journey. Once the mystic has acquired an understanding of his own deepest self, he becomes aware of the Presence of God within him and can then ascend to the more impersonal higher spheres, transcending the limits of personality and egotism. It is a return to the unimaginable Source of our being and the hidden world of sense impression is simply the last and outer-most shell of the divine reality. Snorri Sturluson – Advice to Young Poets

(Internet)

But now one thing must be said to young skalds, to such as yearn to attain to the craft of poesy and to increase their store of figures with traditional metaphors; or to those who crave to acquire the faculty of discerning what is said in hidden phrase: let such an one, then, interpret this book to his instruction and pleasure. Yet one is not so to forget or discredit these traditions as to remove from poesy those ancient metaphors with which it has pleased Chief Skalds to be content; nor, on the other hand, ought Christian men to believe in heathen gods, nor in the truth of these tales otherwise than precisely as one may find here in the beginning of the book.

Father of All and Rime Giants

(Internet)Gangleri began his questioning thus: „Who is foremost, or oldest, of all the gods?“ Hárr answered: „He is called in our speech Allfather, but in the Elder Ásgard he had twelve names: one is Allfather; the second is Lord, or Lord of Hosts; the third is Nikarr, or Spear-Lord; the fourth is Nikudr, or Striker; the fifth is Knower of Many Things; the sixth, Fulfiller of Wishes; the seventh, Far-Speaking One; the eighth, The Shaker, or He that Putteth the Armies to Flight; the ninth, The Burner; the tenth, The Destroyer; the eleventh, The Protector; the twelfth, Gelding.“

Then asked Gangleri: „Where is this god, or what power hath he, or what hath he wrought that is a glorious deed?“ Hárr made answer: „He lives throughout all ages and governs all his realm, and directs all things, great and small.“ Then said Jafnhárr: „He fashioned heaven and earth and air, and all things which are in them.“ Then. spake Thridi: „The greatest of all is this: that he made man, and gave him the spirit, which shall live and never perish, though the flesh-frame rot to mould, or burn to ashes; and all men shall live, such as are just in action, and be with himself in the place called Gimlé. But evil men go to Hel and thence down to the Misty Hel; and that is down in the ninth world.“ Then said Gangleri: „What did he before heaven and earth were made?“ And Hárr answered: „He was then with the Rime-Giants.“

³Abomination of Desolation

Francisco Goya – Los Caprichos

© http://a-r-t.com/goya/

Los Caprichos, a set of eighty etchings by Spanish artist Francisco de Goya y Lucientes published in 1799, is one of the most influential series of graphic images in the history of Western art. …

Enigmatic and controversial, Los Caprichos was created in a time of social repression and economic crisis in Spain. Influenced by Enlightenment thinking, Goya set out to analyze the human condition and denounce social abuses and superstitions. Los Caprichos was his passionate declaration that the chains of social backwardness had to be broken if humanity was to advance. The series attests to the artist‘s political liberalism and to his revulsion at ignorance and intellectual oppression, mirroring his ambivalence toward authority and the church.

Los Caprichos deals with such themes as the Spanish Inquisition, the corruption of the church and the nobility, witchcraft, child rearing, avarice, and the frivolity of young women. Its subhuman cast includes goblins, monks, aristocrats, procuresses, prostitutes, and animals acting like human fools; these personages populate a world on the margins of reason, where no clear boundaries distinguish reality from fantasy.

“Capricho” can be translated as a “whim,” a “fantasy or an expression of imagination.” In Goya’s use of the term for this series of prints, however, the meaning has deepened, binding an ironical cover of humor over one of the most profound indictments of human vice ever set on paper.

Ég ákvað að gerast bloggari á pressan.is til að geta komið skoðunum mínum í þeim efnum á framfæri.
