Stöðvum Landsdóm strax!!! Setjum hann ekki á aftur fyrr en tryggt er að frá Landsdómi sé útvarpað og sjónvarpað. Það er ólíðandi að láta afar mistæka blaðamenn – sem eiga ekki hvað sístan þátt í hruninu – túlka það sem fram fer án þessa að almenningur geti tekið hlutlæga afstöðu til þess sem fram fer.
19. aldar Landsdómsforseti verður að halda inn í 21. öldina ekki síðar en strax!
Það getur ALDREI orðið þokkaleg sátt um þinghald Landsdóms – hvað þá væntanlega niðurstöðu dómsins – öðruvísi en almenningur í landinu geti milliliðalaust fylgst með því sem fram fer.
19.aldar lögfræðingarnir úr HÍ – sem allir voru meitlaðir í aldagamla embættismannalögfræði í náminu sínu – og skilja ekki nýja Ísland – verða að dusta rykið af sjálfum sér og átta sig á því að þeir eru ekki lengur „yfirstétt“ eins og forðum – heldur lögfræðimenntaðir þjónar almennings.

Oft hefur Hallur átt góða spretti á ritvellinum en sjaldan tekist eins vel upp og einmitt núna. Hér endurómar hann sjálfsagðar og eðlilegar kröfur almennings um að fá að heyra og sjá það sem fram fer í Landsdómi milliliðalaust.
Og úttektir og blaður fréttamanna á sjónvarpsstöðvunum er ekki uppá marga fiska enda treystir fólk þeim engan veginn til þess að gæta hlutleysis. Það kom líka berlega í ljós í sjónvarpsfréttum kvöldsins á RUV þegar fréttaþulur kvöldsins og þingfréttamaður skiptust á skoðunum um yfirheyrslur dagsins hvaða tónn var sleginn.
Hinn síðarnefndi missti raunar útúr sér að almenningur krefðist beinna útsendinga frá Landsdómi. Það vantaði aðeins að viðkomandi botnaði með orðunum: Fólkið treystir okkur ekki.
Núna er ég sammála þér. En ekkert að stöðva bara beinar útsendingar strax. Hver bað um útsendingarlaus réttarhöld?
Auðvitað eiga þessi réttarhöld að vera opinber. Einu hugsanlegu rökin eru að hin vitnin megi ekki vita hvað var raunverulega sagt.
En það er vel hægt að taka þá upp öll réttarhöldin og opinbera þau eftir 6mánuði eða svo.
Landsdómur er nítjándu aldar fyrirbæri og skal því sæta nítjándu aldar siðum.
Ósköp virðist vera erfitt fyrir fólk að skilja það að Landsdómur er dómstóll !!! Í réttarkerfi okkar gilda ákveðnar reglur, m.a. bann við fréttaútsendingum og ljósmyndun. Þetta er ekkert sér íslenskt fyrirbæri. Þetta er megin regla í réttarríki. Nýleg voru haldin réttarhöld í Noregi yfir fjöldamorðingjanum Brevik (til framlengingar á varðhaldi). Þá gerðu fjölmiðlar harða hríð að dómsyfirvöldum þar í landi um að fá undanþágu frá útsendingarbanni á nákvæmlega sömu forsendum og hér er haldið fram, þ.e. að það skipti máli fyrir þjóðina að fá að fylgjast með (hvenær halda fjölmiðlar því ekki fram ?). Að öðru leiti er ég ekki að líkja þessu saman.
Það er bannað að útvarpa og sjónvarpa frá dómstólum nema það sé sérstaklega heimilað af dómnum. Þar er fyrst og fremst verið að hugsa um réttindi sakbornings. Saksóknari og Geir hafa bæði samþykkt að allt verði í beinni útsendingu. Það var dómurinn sem kom í veg fyrir að það yrði gert.
Það var fáránleg krafa frá fjölmiðlum að vera að biðja um sýna frá réttarhöldunum yfir Breivik. Það er algjör óþarfi að gefa geðsjúkum hryðjuverkamönnum beinan útsendingartíma í sjónvarpi. Ég vona að Kristján skilji muninn á réttarhöldum yfir fjöldamorðingja og pólitískum réttarhöldum á Íslandi…
Persónulega leiðast mér lögfræðinga og dómssalabíómyndir í amerískum stíl.
En af því einhverjir hafa áhuga á að fylgjast með þessu ætti að fylgja sú krafa að þetta sé utan almenns vinnutíma í landinu þannig að það séu ekki bara fáeinir útvaldir sem hafa tíma í að fylgjast með. Kíktu á það Hallur svona í leiðinni
